There are several ways to join us help the communities of the Haiti-DR border:
Fundraising is the least pleasurable and most needed. We have a few well developed projects that would greatly benefit the communities we serve and that we would launch if we had the funding. We are also open to new ideas. Contact us and let’s discuss.
Volunteer in Cambridge. We are most useful here, where we can give support to people doing fundraising, help with the day-to-day management (e.g. accounting, record-keeping, etc.), analyze data, and do research.
We also appreciate advice from people with past experiences in development work and are glad to learn from you if you’d like to discuss. Some of these discussions have evolved into new, successful projects.
Volunteer in the field. All of our field volunteer activities are run by Annie Ryu through the GDI program (www.gdinnovators.org). Contact Annie at aeryu@college.harvard.edu.
